Edna Lurlene Burns Lawrence, 86, of Linden passed away at her home on March 13, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  Ms. Lawrence was born May 8, 1932 in Lanier, Texas to John Oswald Burns and Rosie Lee Smith Burns.  Lurlene was an LVN and worked for the Linden Municipal Hospital.

She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Judy Lurlene Hicks of Cabot, AR, Melba Louise Lawrence of Linden, TX, Patty Jonise Casias of Linden, TX, Peggy Denise Vallery of Avinger, TX; two sons, Roger Eugene Lawrence of Rogers, AR, John William (Bill) Lawrence of Linden, TX; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Tammy Lawrence of Rogers, AR; two sons-in-law, A.B. Hicks of Cabot, AR and Johnny Casias of Hughes Springs, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Oswald and Rosa Lee Burns; one daughter, Sharon Anderson; one granddaughter, Sara Kay Hicks; three grandsons, Bryan Ernest Hicks, Kyle Everett Lawrence, Caleb Anderson; four brothers, A.P. Burns, Bennie Ray Burns, Johnny Burns, Travis Burns; sister, Bobbie Iris Lucille Johnson; granddaughter, Tiffany Michelle Lovell; grandson, Jordan Alexander Lovell and two Casias Angel Babies.

Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with A.B. Hicks and Bro. Mickey Rorex officiating.  Burial to follow in the Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home.

You touched so many lives and raised wonderful Godly children that will continue your strong legacy. We love you dearly and will see you again in Heaven??
