E.R. "Peanut" Riddle, 92, of Linden, Texas passed away November 18, 2019. Mr. Riddle was born August 23, 1927 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Edward Buchannan Riddle and Iva Mae Thomas Riddle. "Peanut" was a member of the First Baptist Church in Linden, a life time member of the VFW Post 6968 and a WWII Navy Veteran.

He is survived by one sister, Jewel Echols; son, James and Jan Riddle; daughter, Lydia Alexander and Bob Graves; three grandsons, Dalton Riddle and fiance Hannah Cervanka, Chris Howard, Billy Ray and Christy Lee; three great-grandchildren, Jacob Howard, Grace Lee, Annabelle Lee; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special family friends Brad and Shannon Jackson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Iva Riddle; wife Bennie Mae Riddle; son, Eddie Ray Riddle and one sister, Pearl Davis.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2019 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Burial will follow in the Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
