Funeral Services for Elizabeth Phillips Kimberlin Freeman, 90, of Hughes Springs will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hughes Springs Church of Christ with Jeffrey Bethard and Gary Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery in Rocky Branch. Mrs. Freeman was born April 6, 1924 in Cason, Texas and passed away November 7, 2014 in Hughes Springs surrounded by her family. She owned and operated Elizbeth's beauty salon for many years. She was a longtime member of Hughes Springs Church of Christ. Mrs. Freeman is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Emily and Ben Janca of Hughes Springs and Wanda and Wayne Bethard of Longview; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Dugan and Judy Freeman of Longview and Danny Freeman and Penny Watson of Pasadena; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a sister, Iva Lou Duncan of Hughes Springs, 2 sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces of nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Dewey Kimberlin and Morris "MC" Freeman; parents, Thomas and Emily Nance Phillip; and three brothers.

  5. So sorry to learn of your loss. I have fond memories of being in Elizabeth's beauty shop. Miss Elizabeth was such a sweet lady. On hot summer days I loved walking down to her shop and buying myself a Coke, as my parents didn't keep those at our house.
