Ella Mae McDaniel Barrett

Funeral services for Ella Mae Barrett, 77, of Hughes Springs will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 12 at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs with the Rev. Daniel Bramlett officiating. Burial will follow at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Barrett was born March 4, 1933 and passed away Friday, July 9 in a Hughes Springs nursing home. She was a secretary for Reeder-Davis Funeral Home for many years. She is survived by two sons Paul Barrett of Point Blank and Robert Barrett of Houston; one daughter Angela Bush of Mount Pleasant; three sisters Elizabeth Dudley of Hughes Springs, Lela Moncrief of Lake Livingston and Joyce Ogden of Harleton; and one brother Bobby McDaniel of Hughes Springs; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Barrett; a daughter Debbie Lahman one sister Margie Hampton; four brothers Oran McDaniel, Charles McDaniel, Joe McDaniel and Ray McDaniel Mrs. Barrett will lie in state Sunday afternoon and family will receive friends from 6-8 Sunday evening at the funeral home.
