Emma Jean Spencer

Funeral services for Emma Jean Spencer, 80, of Hughes Springs, will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. The family will receive visitors from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Spencer was born March 26, 1932, in Lindale, Texas and passed away December 31, 2012 at a Longview hospital. She is survived by one daughter, Sondra Umphress and husband David, of Hughes Springs; two step-daughters, Karen Reid and husband John, of Fort Worth, and Charlotte Spencer, of Austin; one step-son, Randy Spencer, of Austin; one sister, Virgie Wells, of Lindale; and several nieces and nephews.
