HUGHES SPRINGSFuneral services for Evelyn Whitt Jetton of Hallsville, 86, formerly of Midway Community, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 26, at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs with Roy Conatser and Curtis Hall officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery near Hughes Springs. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Saturday at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Mrs. Jetton died Nov. 22 at a Longview nursing home. She was born October 13, 1920 in Clarksville, Texas. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Atlanta, and she was a homemaker. Mrs. Jetton is survived by her sister Leoda Newsom, a stepdaughter Kathy Minton, stepsons Sid Jetton, Aaron Sharp, Dwight Sharp and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Anna Whitt; three husbands Tom Casey, Carl Sharp and Calvin Jetton; and two sisters Frieda Wynn and Ivy Powell.
