Fannie Crockett

November 2, 1918 ~ February 18, 2018
Fannie Lee Crockett was born to the late William and Pearlina Reece on November 2, 1918 in Jefferson, Texas. She accepted Christ at and early age and was active and faithful until her health began to fail her.
Fannie graduated from Jefferson Texas school system, where she was afforded the opportunity to attend one year of higher education. She married Judge L. Crockett and to this union nine children were born. She retired from Harleton ISD as a member of the dietary staff. Fannie loved helping and serving so much that she often spent her summers working at Lake O’ the Pines Resort.
Fannie loved Christ, her family and the Texas Rangers. She watched or listened to every game and knew the name and position of all “her boys”.
Fannie was preceded in death by her husband, Judge L. Crockett; two children; siblings: Lilsa, Alma, Ira Lee, Doris, Robert, Noble and Oliver C.
She leaves to cherish her memories four daughters: Marie Hutchings of Dallas, Bennie Armstrong of Desoto, Quinteen Crockett of Dallas, and Joyce Turner (Vernon) of Dallas; three sons: Richard Crockett of Dallas, Ermon Crockett (Premella) of Desoto, and Dorley Crockett of Harleton; fourteen grandchildren; and a host of great and great great-grandchildren, and relatives.
Praying for the family.
Family and friends of Mrs. Crockett, I am sorry for your loss: as you celebrate the life of ‘one especially strong’ (Psalm 90:10), please remember that Our Heavenly Father authorized Jesus Christ to tell us that many now dead will live again (John 5:21, John 11:24-25). What a wonderful hope for the faithful
