Frances S. Alvis, 97, of Linden passed away March 22, 2018. Mrs. Alvis was born April 13, 1920 in Munich, Germany to Johann Schonwetter and Anna Stadler.
Survivors include her son Greg Alvis and wife Cindy of Colleyville, TX.; two grandchildren, Austin Alvis of Denton, TX. and Hayley Alvis of Colleyville, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Houston Alvis and one daughter, Karen Alvis.
Services will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Union Hill Cemetery with Bro. Doug Freeman officiating and under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
There will be a time of visitation from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.

I’m sorry about your loss. Mrs. Alvis was a very sweet lady. Very calm and gentle spirit. She was a good friend. I used to work at BWC so I took care of her for about two and a half years. Bless you all and your families.
