Freda Rena Barber Brown was born June 23, 1971 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Sandra Brown and Raymond Martin. Freda started school at Hughes Springs ISD and graduated from Daingerfield ISD. She went on to Texas A&M University in Texarkana where she received her LVN license. She was a member of Mt. Zion CME Church in Omaha. Freda departed this life June 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dessie Miller and Primus Hayes. She leaves to mourn her passing, her mother and step-father, Sandra Fay and Ricky Jimerson of Daingerfield; father and step-mother, Raymond and Renee Martin of Virginia; step-father, H. B. Barber Sr. of Omaha; grandparents, LeRoy and Jonell Brown of Hughes Springs; daughter, Chablis Barber of Daingerfield; son, Marcus DVor Nickleberry, Jr. of Naples; brother, Marcus J. Brown and wife Yuvonda of Hughes Springs; sister, Christina Martin of Virginia; nieces and nephews, Tybreon Brown of Hughes Springs, Jaylon Evans of Cason, Trayvon D. Kennedy of Hughes Springs, Autumn C. Everett of Hughes Springs, Adriana D. Kennedy of Hughes Springs, Shambreeka West of Texarkana, and Jeremiah West of Texarkana; and a host of aunts, uncles, family, and friends. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday June 6, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Cason. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
