Services for Gary Alton Rector, Jr., 49, of Linden, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Rector was born December 6, 1965 and passed away July 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brownie Glasgow, and his grandson Daultyn Wayne Slaten. He is survived by his parents: Gary Alton Rector, Sr. and Barbara of Linden; wife, Licia Rector of Linden; brother, Michael Rector and wife Donna of Linden; sons: John Baxter and wife Kayla of Linden; Gary Rector III and Casey of Abilene, Sonny Rector of Linden; daughter, Raven Baxter of Linden; grandsons: Dallas and Remington Baxter; aunt, Pam Sullivan; nephews: Brandon Malone of Longview, Michael Rector of Linden, William Rector of Linden, Josh Rector of Linden; nieces: Ashlea Malone of New York, Hailey Rector of Longview.
