Glen "Bud" Gibson

April 7, 1936 ~ May 10, 2014
Glen Bud Gibson, 78 of Texarkana and formerly of Daingerfield, will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday May 15, 2014 at the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery in Daingerfield, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 1:00 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Gibson served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from PMC in Hughes Springs, and was an Electrician. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Lynne Gibson-Barnard; grandson, Bobby Glen Barnard; parents, brothers and sisters. Bud is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Wallace Gibson; daughter, Glenna Gibson Roberts; granddaughter; Veronica Kay Roberts; two great-granddaughters: Lyndyn and Kaylyn; two sisters: Mary Louise Huggins and Joyce Boykin; brother-in-law, Leo Wallace; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Barbara,Willie and I will not get to come see you or be at Glen's services Thursday since we have doctor appointments that day that we cannot cancel. But we want you to know the McCoys miss you guys – and how much you meant to us! You were absolutely the best neighbors anyone could have had all these many years. We want you and your family to know our thoughts are with you. And we will continue to keep you in our prayers in the days and months ahead. May our God continue to strengthen, guide and bless you!
