Greathel Geneva Endsley was born Aug. 22, 1935, in Quinton, Oklahoma, and passed away Feb. 14, 2023 in Longview, Texas. She was one of eight children born to George and Ocie Endsley, along with brothers Cranford and Neely and sisters, Inez, Guyola, Lucy, Georgia and Almeta.

While they enjoyed traveling the country in their RV, they too settled down at Lake O’ The Pines. Greathel loved being a nurse, cooking and crafting. For many years, she was the best aunt to her many nieces and nephews, but when she found Don, she gained daughters and grandchildren who brought her great joy over the past 17 years. Anyone who knew Greathel knew she was a kind and sweet lady with a wicked sense of humor. You always knew where you stood with her. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Don Corman; sister, Almeta Lee; two daughters, Charlotte Mitchum and Audrey Ulmer; two grandsons, Daryl Mitchum and Wade Mitchum; great-grandchildren, Anthony Mitchum and Ashlin Mitchum, and many nieces, nephews and friends left to cherish her memory.

I’m so so sorry that Greathel had such a tough time She was a very giving, caring and loving person but still knew not to take crap from Anybody!!! She was an angel for my Uncle Don.
Great memories of all the laughter my Aunt's would have when they got together,I will miss Aunt Greathel, can still close my eyes and see Lucy, Greathel and Almeta at our place on Lake Fork, always wished my mom was with us.
I remember visiting Aunt Greathel and Uncle Hanes a couple of times when I was little, loved them. I was able to reconnect with Aunt Greathel the past few years at a couple of the family reunions and on Facebook. She was certainly a special lady in my life. Love her dearly and will miss our connections. Rest in Heavenly Peace, Aunt Greathel. ??????
Grandma Greathel was such sweet warm loving person that was gentle soul mixed with southern charm it was an honor to know her and be part of the family. I never forget kindness from heart and memories we shared love you very much hope your giving everyone run for their money up there in Heaven lots of love.
I met Greathel on a trip to the lake with some work friends. Greathel told me and my husband that the man next to her would sell his lake house if she ever found someone she wanted as a neighbor. He sold us the house the same day. We stayed neighbors for many many years and I loved her. A friend of mine Nomie from Grand Prairie moved down next and she also loved Greathel. We became the three musketeers. I am the only one left and will definitely miss Greathel (she was also my 8th cousin 2 times removed from her mother's and my mother's side.)
