Services for Gwendolen Dunn, 62, of Ore City will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Little Mound Cemetery in Latch, Texas under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.  

Gwen Pyland Dunn was born July 25, 1956 to Dennis and Mary Pyland in Houston, Texas. She passed away September 16, 2018. Gwen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry W. Dunn; brother, Daniel R. Pyland; and sisters, Sharon Robinson, Rebecca Quinn, Jean Hurley, and Brenda Pyland. 

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Lisa Pyland of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; brothers, Dennis and wife Roberta Pyland of Bird Island, Minnesota, David and Norma Pyland of Charleston, South Carolina, Dale and wife Sandy Pyland of Diana, Texas; sisters, Mary Myers, Arlene Pyland, Donna Pyland, all of Ore City, and Pam and husband Bubba Casey of Gilmer; three grandchildren, Ansley, Landry, and Everette Pyland of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

You were a blessing to my sister Codie and her children Hayden and Addy. and to me. Your our now with our Lord and Savior and Mr. Larry and family.. We miss you and love you very much so.
