Harold "Dino" Godbolt

Funeral services for Mr. Harold “Dino” Godbolt, 74, of Cason, Texas, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. A time of viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.

Mr. Godbolt passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at his home in Cason, surrounded by his loving family.

Harold “Dino” Godbolt was a dedicated and devoted husband whose presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 38 years, Evelyn Godbolt; his sons, Steven Neal and Harold Godbolt, Jr.; his grandchild, Emmanuel Cortez Mims; his nephew, Darion Smith; his nieces, Ashley Shelton, Felicia Armstrong, and Gwen Cheatum (Michael); and his sisters-in-law, Tina Johnson (Johnny), Cathy Sturdivant, and Avis Johnson (John).

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Lucille Godbolt; his brother, Clyde Godbolt; his sister, Helen Campbell; and his sister-in-law, Faye Smith.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends, grandchild, and community.
