Helen Haley Trammell

Helen Olita Haley Trammell was born May 20, 1931 and went to the house of the Lord March 30, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hiawatha Trammell; son, Jonathan David Trammell; six sisters and two brothers. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8 Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Trammell was a lifetime resident of Lone Star, Texas and a member of the Lone Star Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School Class and Vacation Bible School. She owned and operated Bennies Caf for several years and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge 101. She is survived by her daughters, Leah Trammell Blackwell and husband Jerry of Daingerfield and Susan Trammell Blackmon of Daingerfield; grandchildren, Andy, Lisa and Lola Crump of Omaha, Eric, Stephanie, and Shelbee Blackmon of Daingerfield, Justin Blackwell and family of Hughes Springs, Megan Blackwell and family of Hughes Springs; as well as several nieces and nephews.
