Services for Clyde Hugh Floyd, 100, of Daingerfield will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Veal Switch Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Hugh Floyd was born February 17, 1918 in Marietta, Texas to Clyde and Mary Susan Floyd. He passed away October 30, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Floyd; his parents; two sons, David Floyd and Don Floyd; seven siblings; grandson, Adam Ferris; and son-in-law, Ray Jones.
He is survived by two daughters, Sarah Jones, Suzann Young and husband Mark; daughters-in-law, Sarah Jo Floyd and Sylvia Floyd; grandchildren, Stephany Ferris and husband Kevin, Sandy Shaffer, Lynette Floyd, Jerry Floyd and wife Shonna, Clint Floyd, Shelley Taylor and husband Calvin, and Miles Young; great-grandchildren, Blake Ferris, Zac Ferris, Garrett Long and wife Kayla, Derek Long, Cooper Floyd, Hunter Floyd, Sam Floyd, Kenzie Floyd, Chase Taylor, Caige Taylor, and Max Young; great great-grandchildren, Alysa, Ava, and Eli.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Hugh was such a special man to me as a child an I have many fond memories of him. I am praying for all of you and your families. I know that God has his loving arms around all of you.
