Izetta Fisher was born September 21, 1924 to the late Tinzer Morrow and Willie Dixon Morrow. Tinzer later remarried Carrie Morrow who raised Izetta from a young age. Izetta attended school in Marion County and united with Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church at a early age and remained faithful and very active in the Church. A celebrated vocalist, she blessed the hearts of many with her voice. Her favorite song was "Precious Lord". She married the late Willie Lee Fisher at a early age. To this union one son was born James Lewis Fisher. She was a member of Heroines of Jericho Chapter Four. She is preceded in death by her husband Willie Lee Fisher, father Tinzer Morrow and mother Willie Dixon Morrow, brothers John L. and George Morrow and Velma Fisher, and sisters Exie V. Jones and Gerdie Powell. She leaves to cherish her memories, son and daughter-in-law James Lewis and Lanell Fisher of Dallas TX, three granddaughters, Beatrice Hawkins(Richard) of Euless TX, Dyshessta Patterson of Mt. Pleasant TX, and China Austin of Longview TX, five grandsons, Al Fisher(Sese) of San Diego CA, Tody Hawkins of Dallas TX, Lieutenant Reginal Fisher Sr.(Micah) of San Diego CA, Eli Fisher(Amanda) of Longview TX, Jason Fisher(Shay) of Hughes Springs TX, LaMario Fisher(Amber) of Longview TX, two brothers, Gene Morrow(Linda) of Atlanta TX and T. L. Morrow(Ester) of Avinger TX, one sister Jerlie Johnson(R.C.) of Lonestar TX, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 5 until 7 Friday evening at the funeral home.

Sorry to read of Mrs. Izetta passing. She was a sweet lady. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in your many memories of her. May God give you the peace, strength and comfort you need.
