Funeral services for Jackie Dan Hargett, 58, of Hughes Springs, will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2014 at Cornett Methodist Church in Naples. Burial will follow at Cornett Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8 Sunday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Hargett was born April 18, 1956 and passed away May 15, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father; William Hargett and one brother, Olin Hargett. He is survived by his mother, Mamie Johnson Hargett of Hughes Springs; 4 daughters, Stephanie Mitchell and her fiance James of Lindale, Crystal Hargett and her fiance Vic of Hughes Springs, Mamie Hargett and her partner Ann of Palestine, and Crystal Gunn of Atlanta; one son, Jackie Ben Hargett of Marshall; 11 grandchildren Dmuntreay Hargett, Jaquallon Hargett, Jalayshia Birdine, Jalexus Birdine, Dana LeJeune, Keith LeJeune, Daniel Hargett, Courtnie Slack, Alishia Barnard, Tristian Slack and Dylan Slack; one sister, Sandy Blackwell; and three brothers, Eddie, Tony and William Hargett; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
