Sympathy to Bud's family. I know he will be missed.
I was 9yrs. old when my family moved next door to the Jones family. Bud finished high school that year and went to Kilgore Junior College to play football. Later transferring to S.M.U., I saw Bud play for the Ponies one time and it was such a thrill for a 9yr. old kid. When Bud would come home during the summer, he would get Regan and I to throw the ball to him. He gave "us" a pretty good work out! Bud was someone I looked up to and remained a super guy.
Helen…Bud and I have been friends since in the late 1950's.We had classes together at East Texas State and we were always good friends.I could not make it to Linden because of my medical problems . I will miss Bud forever and let me know if I can ever help you.Sincerely ,Buddy Little
RIP Bud. My employer for 16 years and my friend. You will be missed.
