James Neal Storie, 76, of Linden passed away September 20, 2018 at his home.  Mr. Storie was born March 19, 1942 in Linden, Texas to Rufus Homer Storie and Edna Graham Storie.  James served his country proudly in the United States Army, was a volunteer on the Linden Fire Department, a paramedic and a member of the Shiloh Methodist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Norma Storie; four children, Rhonda Leigh Storie Perone (Gregory), William H. Storie (Stacey), Edith Delorne Storie Bembry (Garland), Marliyn Jo Storie Boney (Jr.); seven grandchildren, Brandilyn Rachayle Page, Cody Adam Page, Sheyanne Tant, James Harold Boney, Joseph Boney, Tracie Johnson, Travis Wiswall; eleven great-grandchildren, Carter, Shayne, Zachariah, Keileigh, Asher, Rayleigh, Wade, Gracie, Mason, Jameson, Cutter James;  brother, Ronnell Storie (Linda) and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Homer and Edna Delorne Storie and one sister, Iviline Dugan.

Services will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, September 24, 2018 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Sue Sullivan and Glenn Hunter officiating.  Burial to follow in the Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

There will be a time of visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Shiloh Cemetery Association, c/o Mr. Jimmy Duncan, 473 FM 2683, Jefferson, TX  75657.
