Services for James Roy Fountain, Jr., 92, of Jefferson, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 Friday evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Fountain was born September 1, 1926 and passed away October 23, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Roy Fountain, Sr. and Lois Boughman; son, Floyd William Eugene Nicholson; daughter, Olivia Arlene Sherrow; grandson, Carldeen Kilso; siblings, Kenneth Ray, W. E. "Bee", Katheryn, Zella Mae, and Mary Ruth.

He is survived by his children, James E. Fountain of Gladewater, TX, and Nicholas Ira Bernard Fountain and wife Becky of Tatum, TX; sisters, Dorothy "Dotty" Williams of Sulphur Springs, TX, and Marilyn Foster of Italy, TX; brother, Elmer "Peewee" Fountain of Ennis, TX; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
