James Terry Lockeby, Sr. was born January 7, 1955 and passed away on September 20, 2019, at his home in Bryans Mill, Texas. Terry was born on January 7th, 1955 to Dora Mae Lockeby and J.T. Lockeby of Marietta, Texas. He was the second to eldest of seven children. He worked in the logging industry for most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one great-granddaughter, Francesca Cordelia Brown.

He is survived by his four brothers, Jesse Lockeby and wife, Dixie of Foreman, Arkansas, Robert “Cotton” Lockeby of Marietta, Texas, Henry “Sandy” Lockeby of Naples, Texas, and Jimmy “Bo” Lockeby and wife, Rosie of Marion, Indiana; and two sisters, Freda Esch and husband Tom Esch of Ashdown, Arkansas and Rita Foreman of Hughes Springs, Texas. He is also survived by his son, James Terry Lockeby, Jr. and wife Sarah from Mineral Springs, Arkansas; his daughter, Cora Zee Lockeby and her husband Dennis Elmore from Mount Ida, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Luther Lockeby, Logan Lockeby, Zoey Lockeby, Mattie Brown, Cecil Brown;  one great-grandchild, Connor Brown; and multiple uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  

Services for Terry will be held on October 5, 2019, at the home of a family member.
