Jasen Anthony Montoya

jasen montoya

Jasen Anthony Montoya passed through the pearly gates Monday, October 12, 2020.  Jasen is survived by one son Aric; two daughters Karma and Autumn; parents, Tony and Brenda; one "dorky" sister, Jodi Bradshaw and husband Joey; one nephew, Ryan Mitchell; two nieces, Rayna and Cloey Bradshaw, Katelyn Blakely, Jordan Montoya and a host of others who claim him as well as Aunt Nancy, Uncle Jim, many cousins, and about a kazillion friends.

Born in Linden December 2, 1977, Jasen grew up forming lifelong friendships with his little league teammates and school buddies.  He was an avid UT fan, "Hook'Em Horns", loved to cook (probably a result of sitting in a pillow-stuffed cardboard box on the cabinet at six months old watching Mama Bea cook), music, drawing, and coaching his girls softball teams.  He loved to entertain friends and family from lip sync battles to guitar hero, while creating a feast on the grill, or the stove.

Remember the good times shared with Jasen, shed a tear or two, miss him a lot, but celebrate his life well lived.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 18, 2020 at New Colony Baptist Church with Bro. Claude Crocker officiating.  Burial to follow in the New Colony Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday evening at the funeral home.

I HAVE FOUGHT THE GOOD FIGHT, I HAVE FINISHED THE RACE, I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH.
