Mr. Jerry Dee Vaughn was born April 12, 1934 in Jenkins to Arthur and Mae Barnard Vaughn. He passed away March 10, 2014 at his home in Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dedman Vaughn. Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Jerri DeAndra Pendarvis and husband Rickey of Ore City and Robin Leigh Vaughn of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one son, Jeffery Shane Vaughn of Asheville, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Nesha Pendarvis and Rickey Pendarvis Jr. and his wife; and four great-grandchildren. A private family graveside service will be held at Clark Cemetery.

At times like these I wish I still lived in the area, not in Mexico….Jerry was a good friend and at times a good fishing partner….may God fill the void in his family and friends hearts with His love…..
Thank you for being like a Dad… for encouraging me… for calling me last summer… for sharing your life with so many of us… for being you. I will never forget you… no one could. I love you… so very much Sir Jerry Vaughn~
