Jimmie Buckland

Jimmie Buckland, 72, of San Francisco, California passed away August, 10, 2022. Jimmie was born June 19, 1950 in Linden, Texas to Waylon and Maurine Grubbs Buckland.
Mr. Buckland graduated from Linden-Kildare High School in 1968 and the University of Texas in 1972. Jimmie was formerly the VP of North American West Coast Operations for Sims Metal, based out of Australia, a global leader in metal and electronics recycling. He was highly esteemed and well respected in the renewable energy industries.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sisters Carol Buckland and Donna Stewart (Dave). Nieces Jessica Middleton and Laura Ridnour (Stuart) and nephew Joel Stewart (Cara). He is also survived by two great nieces, four great nephews and many dear cousins and friends.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
