Jimmy Don Gaskin, 73, of Douglassville, TX passed away October 7, 2019. Mr. Gaskin was born August 18,1946 in West Point, Mississippi to W.L. Gaskin and Sallie Christine McBride Gaskin.

He is survived by his two sons, John Gaskin and wife Ann of Bloomburg, TX., David Gaskin and wife Opie of Linden, TX.; nine grandchildren, John Gaskin, Jr., Edward Gaskin, Nicholas Gaskin, Sallie Gaskin, Elizabeth Gaskin, Selena Gaskin, Victoria Gaskin, Mackenzie Gaskin and Makayla Gaskin; five great-grandchildren, Justin, Aubrey, Ayden, Emmett Gaskin, Oliver Gaskin; two sisters, Frances Jones and husband Adrian, Donna Harris; brother, Bobby Gaskin all of West Point, Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Bonnie Gaskin and one brother, Charles Gaskin of West Point, Mississippi.

Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the Linden Cemetery with Darren Crenshaw officiating and under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
