Jo C. Taylor Addison delighted our family on October 4, 1952 to the parentage of George C. and Ollie Mae (Neal) Taylor. She attended school at Victory High for eleven years. Her senior year she attended Jefferson High School, graduating in 1971. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Lassater, Texas until she moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and joined the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful member until her health started to decline. She was employed with the Milwaukee school district for 27 years. She was united in marriage to Charles Ray Addison for 41 years and to this union one son was born. She is preceded in death by her father, George C. Taylor; and one brother, George Taylor. She leaves to cherish her memories husband, Charles Ray Addison; son, Detrick Addison and his wife Dee Dee; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; mother, Ollie Taylor; two sisters, Lula Hicks and her husband Moses and Eddie Lois Taylor; brother, Thomas Taylor and his wife JoAnn; one sister-in-law, Joanner Taylor a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special cousin, Monica Willis. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Following the burial, a reception will take place at the 155 Community Center.
