Joe Richard Pixley, 75, of Linden passed away April 8, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Pixley was born July 13, 1943 in Magnolia, AR to Joe M. Pixley and Imogene Stallings.  Joe served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.

He leaves to cherish  his memory, wife, Shirley Pixley; son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Shawn Pixley; grandchildren, Seth and Anglique Sullivan; great-grandson, David Winston Sullivan; two nieces, Kristy and Liz; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Berg, Rosemary Tomlin and husband Roy , Delores Jeske and husband, Nolan, Carol Linkinhoker and husband, David, Linda Simmons and husband, Jimmy; brothers-in-law, Raymond Bolton, Kenneth Bolton and wife, Carolyn, Eldred Bolton and numerous other nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his  previous wife, JoAnn Pixley; parents; Joe M. and Imogene Pixley; brother, Gary Pixley and wife Sherry; and two sisters-in-law, Ellen Tomlin and Ruby Hamilton.

Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2019  at Pinecrest Baptist Church with Bro. Bryan Baggett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
