Graveside services Joe W. Pyland, 77, of Hughes Springs, will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, in Hughes Springs. Mr. Pyland was born October 10, 1935 in Avinger, Texas and passed away August 11, 2013 at a Mt. Pleasant hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Pyland; and his parents, Wilton and Jo Fern Pyland. Survivors include two sons, Matthew Michael Pyland, of Anchorage, Alaska, and Joe Wesley Pyland, of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Andrea Pyland Brewer, of San Antonio, Texas, and Samantha Pyland, of Denton, Texas; grandchildren, Aaron Brewer, Mallorie Fromme, and Wesley Whitmarsh; one brother Gary Wayne Pyland, of Lone Star; one sister, Mary Jean Gibson and husband Patrick, of Mesquite, Texas; special friends, Bill and Donna Heishan, and Lisa Hall; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
