John W Johnson

A private family memorial will be held for John William Johnson, 82, of Hughes Springs. Arrangements are under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Johnson died August 10, 2006 at his residence. He was born November 17, 1923 in Latch, TX. He was a mechanic and farmer. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor; having served on the USS Maryland. He is survived by three daughters, Debra Johnson of Crowley, TX; Barbara Dodson of Hughes Springs, and Wanda Wright of Dryden; TX; one brother, Romus D. Johnson of Devine, TX; one sister, Sally Curry of Hughes Springs; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren
