LINDEN-Johnnie Helen Conn entered the loving presence of her Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ, on Friday, November 23, 2012 in Linden. Mrs. Conn was born March 15, 1935 in Kilgore to Leslie Neal and Mary Lucille Jones. She married James C. Jimmy Conn on February 11, 1955. Together they operated Conn Auto Parts in Linden and she was a member of First Assembly of God Church. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Ann and Jerry McKellar of Linden; three sons and two daughters-in-law, James Neal and Cathy Conn of Grant, Alabama, Roger Lewis and Teresa Conn of Linden and Richard Lane Conn, also of Linden; furthermore, she leaves fond memories for her six grandchildren, Christy Reyes, Brent McKellar, Jeffery and Jeremey Conn, and Joshua and Megan Conn. Along with her six grandchildren, she has seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving her is one sister, Faye Briggs and husband, Thomas, of New Boston; a brother-in-law, John Wright of Longview; two sisters-in-law, Marla Duck of Linden, and Mary Francis George and husband, Thomas, of Fate, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James C. "Jimmy" Conn. Funeral services will be at 10:00am Monday, November 26, 2012 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden with Bro. James Neal Conn officiating. Interment will be in Linden Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
