Juanita Pruitt

Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Pruitt, 102, of Hughes Springs, will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2025, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Burial will follow at Bradfield Chapel Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the funeral home.

Cloris Juanita Pruitt was born January 4, 1923 in Prescott, Arkansas to Joe and Bessie  Morehead. She passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025 in Pittsburg, Texas at the age of 102.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Pruitt; sons, James W. Magill, Joe Magill; brothers and sisters, Ruby Klement, Buster Morehead, James Morehead, Leroy Morehhead, Virginia Davidson, Rosie Morehead, Joann Marsh, and Melinda Clark; and one granddaughter, Sharon Webber.

She is survived by sons, Charles Magill and Doug Magill; she is also survived by brothers and sisters, Wesley Morehead, Wayne Morehead, Doyle Morehead, Teri Kelley, Bobbie Wynn, and Billie Jones.

Mrs. Pruitt has four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren.

She was a devout member of Hughes Springs Church of Christ.
