LINDEN Clara Juanita Warren, 86, of Linden passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 in a Linden nursing center. She was born August 30, 1926 in Cass County, Texas to Edgar and Ora Lee Hobbs Ham. She was a book keeper for Allen Bros. department Store for many years, a member of Linden Chapter 576 Order of the Eastern Star and New Colony Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, George Thomas Warren; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Nita and Ronnie Jones of Linden, Brenda and Jerry Yates of Atlanta, Sandra Strutton of Texarkana, and Sue Anderson of San Marcos; two sisters, Thelma Moore of Marietta and Lena Hale of Commerce; five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, many other family members and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Mark Porterfield and a great grandson, Tyler Porterfield. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at New Colony Baptist Church with Bro. David Hazelwood officiating. Interment will follow in New Colony Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden. A visitation will be from 6 to 8pm Monday at the funeral home.
