Judy Sullivan, 77, of Linden, Texas passed away December 14, 2020 with her daughter and son at her side.  Mrs. Sullivan was born January 31, 1943 in Stafford, Kansas to Shug and Dorothy Bradshaw.

Judy was a homemaker, co-owner of Sullivan Home Supply, Sullivan Gift Baskets and Tea Room.  She was a member of the Linden United Methodist Church where she served faithfully in many different capacities.  She was a member of the Linden Order of the Eastern Star; she loved Linden and she ran the chamber of commerce for a time.  She was involved with the Linden Wildflower Trails for many years.  However, her favorite pastime was being Granny Judy and Ju-Ju!  She never met an umpire or referee that she liked until Marlon became a High School baseball umpire.

She leaves behind her son Marlon Sullivan and special friend, Donna of Linden; daughter Jina Hamm and son-in-law Ronnie of Lake O' Pines; three grandchildren, Amanda Tucker of Linden, Seth Sullivan and his wife Anglique of Bullard, and Olivia Martinez of Linden; three great-grandchildren, Logan Hankins, Reagan Hankins, and David Winston Sullivan; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Jim Templeman of Lovington, NM; two very special nieces, Lisa Karger and Robin Acosta,  and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart Winston Sullivan, whom she was married to for 58 years; her parents, Shug and Dorothy Bradshaw, and a very special nephew, David Templeman.

There will be a private burial at the Linden Cemetery.

There will be a time from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, for family and friends to sign the registry book.

    I did not personally know your mother, but after I read the obituary, I know that Mrs. Sullivan was a great woman.

  17. I shall never forget Judy! She was born in Kansas, just like me. Judy was such a thoughtful woman. She brought me a delicious supper of roast beef, carrots, potatoes, fruit salad, and a so tasty piece of spice cake for desert. I so appreciated this, because at the time, my wife Mary Jane was in Golden Villa in Atlanta, for rehab. You could always depend on Judy to be such a wonder member of the Linden United Methodist Church! She set such a fine example for all of us to follow, by the Christian life that she lived. We know that she is now in Heaven with her husband Winston, with God forever!

  23. I can’t find the words to say how saddened I am-
    How much Judy will be missed. I have such fond memories
    growing up across the street and later down the street
    from Judy and Sandye.Later during our college days, Mike and I loved the time we spent with Judy and Winston in
    Lubbock. (along with a very young Marlon and Jina)!
    They will always be in our hearts as treasured friends.

  24. Mra. Judy was a very special lady. When she spoke, you listened! She was a very compassionate woman about her family, friends and business. She gave 100% of herself to others, especially Mr. Winston. She was a key asset to the community of Linden and will be greatly missed. She is now with the love of her life, Mr. Winston.
