Services for Junior Moore Childress, 94, of Daingerfield will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Junior Moore Childress was born July 27, 1925 and passed away March 4, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Ann Childress; parents, Corrie and Pearl Childress; sister, Shirley Welch.
He is survived by four sons, Corrie Childress and wife, Dawn of Jenkins, Texas, James Childress and wife, Amanda of Jenkins, Texas, Mark Childress of Round Rock, Texas, Barry Childress and wife, Eliza of Cedar Park, Texas; two daughters, Barbara Holland of Daingerfield, Texas, Tracey Doss of Hughes Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Jonathan Byrd, Pete Rios, Chris Rios, Kasey Like, Kaitlyn Hathaway, Kolby Childress, Noah Childress, Jennie Peart, and Jessica Ashford; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

My dear family of Junior Moore Childress.I loved Uncle Junior so much. Like both your parents they were the only Aunt and Uncle I ever spent a lot of time with and loved ever moment of that time. Discipline and love were given at the right times and I knew it when that happened! I love you all and pray for peace in your hearts.
