Karen Marie Newcomb

Karen Marie Newcomb, 62, of Hughes Springs died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at a Hughes Springs Nursing Home. Mrs. Newcomb was born June 26, 1946 in Daingerfield. She worked as a Manager in the housing authority and was a Baptist. Survivors include: two sons Kenneth Blankenship of Nash and James Blankenship of Dodridge, AR; her mother Dorothy Hough of Daingerfield; three sisters Linda Maberry of Houston, Brenda Garfield of Daingerfield and Altice Johnson of Ellijay, GA; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one niece and five nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Miller and a nephew Kevin Bryan. Memorial services are to be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are through the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc.
