I always enjoyed talking and listening to Karon. She was a very sweet person and had a unique outlook on everything. She was a well read person and would often tell me about novels she was reading. Karon was a fantastic cook and many of us always were excited to see what Karon would bring to pot luck meals at the office. Karon enjoyed telling stories about her family and was a very good person. I am proud to have called her my friend.
The news of Karon's passing hit me hard. One could not hope for a person to be a better friend than Karon was to me. We went through good times and hard times and good times over and over again, but she always had a smile, a nice thought and never a mean word to those that tried to keep her down. Love you and will miss you Karon from Karen.
Lyvonn, so sorry for your loss. thinking about you and praying that God will give you comfort in this time of grief.
Karon & I met in new employee orientation for the City of Denton 6 years ago. Since then we would see each other in the halls or a class or walking out to our cars. Though I didn't know her well beyond that, she was always very sweet & made me smile. She was a person that you knew had a kind spirit & it was always a joy to see her. I know she will be missed. I pray that family & friends will find peace & comfort in this difficult time.
I was saddened to hear that news. We all were blessed to have her pass through our lives at the city. Karon always had a smile on her face and warmth in her heart.

RIP Karen – May peace be with your family at this time. I am glad that you were part of my life at City of Irving.
I was very surprised and saddened when I heard the news of Karon's passing. I have know Karon for nearly 9 years. I worked with Karon at the City of Corinth and then again at the City of Denton. She was always so dear to me. She was articulate and bright. My sons remember her as my work associate that invited them to a Ranger's game a few years ago. That was a real treat for me and my sons. I will miss not working with her. Together we have looked at and had knocked down a lot of poor houses. She was a very sweet and spiritual person. I appreciated her friendship.Kurt Hansen
I have known Karon for more than 30 years. She used to live with a friend of mine and then I went to work for the City of Irving and worked many years with her. She spoke of her brother Tony very often because we graduated the same year. She was very proud of you Tony. She will be missed.
Karon was a special friend. She was always kind and considerate. No matter how long it has been since you last saw each other, she made you feel warm, happy, and missed. She will be truely missed. Her love carries us forward.Sincerely, JJ
