Katherine Brown Reeves KB was born August 27, 1966 to the late Larry Dunlap and Willie J. Brown and Passed away January 30, 2013 at her home. She received her education at Daingerfield High School. She was a faithful member of Prayer Garden C.O.G.I.C. and also served as local and district President of Hospitality in the Pittsburg district. She was employed at several prominent companies in East Texas. Those companies included Pilgrims Pride, Brookshire's, U.S. Steel, and Mt. Pleasant Independent School District. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband Roy Reeves, of Cason; three children, LaStaria Brown of Longview, Anqualais Brown(LaQuita) of Cason, and Donald McCoo of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren, Kortney Searcy, Tyler Brown, and Landon McCoo; seven siblings, Shelia Brown of Longview, Elvettia Cantan and Bennie Brown of Cason, John Brown of Dallas, Montoya (Sonia) Brown of Irving, Fabian (Wendy) Brown of Daingerfield; a host of special friends in the class of 1984; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m., Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Reeves will lie in state from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
