LINDEN Services for Kathryn Maurine Carter, 86, of Linden, will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 22, 2008, in the Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Don Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Mrs. Carter was born September 7, 1922 in Linden to Errol and Irene Swinney Erwin and she passed away Monday, October 20, 2008, at her home in Linden. She was a homemaker and a member of Linden Chapter 576 Order of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church of Linden. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Carter. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jana and Phil Broxson of Corrigan; two grandsons Blaine Broxson of Katy, and Drew Broxson of Richardson; a grand daughter-in law, Jill Broxson of Richmond; two great-granddaughters, Jenna Broxson and Cambry Broxson and numerous other relatives and friends.
