Linden, Texas George Keith Fuller, 67, of Linden passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 to be with our Lord. He was born September 6, 1945 in Atlanta, Texas, to Orville Lee and Wilna Fant Fuller. He was employed by Cass County as maintenance supervisor. He was the former owner of Fuller Supply and Fuller Appliance of Linden. He was a devoted and loyal Scout Leader of Boy Scout Troop 39 in Linden. He was Scoutmaster from 1981 to 1993 where he awarded the rank of Eagle Scout to eight young men including his two sons. Keith was an enthusiastic member of the Akela Wahinapay Lodge, Longhorn clan in the BSA Order of the Arrow. He was honored in 1987 with the Vigil Honor by the youth of the Akela Wahinapay Lodge. Dad received the Silver Beaver Award which is the highest recognition a Boy Scout council can bestow on an adult volunteer leader in 1986. Keith was an avid church member of the First United Methodist Church in Linden, a member of the Linden Lions Club, a member of the Linden-Kildare FFA Booster Club and assisted numerous years at the Cass County Junior Livestock Show. Survivors include his beloved wife of 44 years, Jo Beth Fuller of Linden; two sons and daughters-in-law, Toby Lee and Wendy Fuller of Linden and Stephen Todd and Candy Fuller of Tuleta; five grandchildren, Austin, Cody, Riley, Caylee and Spencer; two sisters, Carolyn Boring and Phyllis Harrell and husband George; many other family members and a whole passel of friends that loved him deeply. He was preceded in death by his parents. Keith was an instrumental part of so many lives in Linden and through his love and devotion to the organizations in which he belonged. Dad you will be missed. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Linden with Rev. James McMillen officiating. Interment will follow in Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Monday at the funeral home.

  36. I had the priviledge of meeting your family as they gathered around your bedside in CVICU at Christus St Michaels. You see, I was one of the many who watched your precious family pour their love out all over you as you faught your brave fight. Allowing us to see at a glance… perfect, true love and devotion. Though I never had the priviledge of knowing you personally, there is no doubt you were an amazing man – that was the reflection we saw in their eyes. Jo Beth and family, may you feel the presence of God as He wraps His arms around each of you and pulls you closer. Indeed you have so many marvelous memories to reflect on and encourage you.

  38. Keith was always a gentle man, who loved his family, life, and I have never heard him say any thing negetive. I am grateful to know him and claim him as a a good man.
