Kirk Lehman, 52, of Hughes Springs, Texas was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Jack and Linda Lehman. Kirk passed away on September 16, 2023 of stage 4 prostate cancer. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support for his wife and three beloved sons.
Kirk met Vivien at VFW in Denton, Texas in December of 2011, and asked her to marry him beside a campfire six months later. They were common law married until a small ceremony at Calvary Chapel, Mt Pleasant on February 2, 2020.
Kirk was a gentle man who loved his family deeply. He always looked forward to 4th of July family reunions in Missouri where everyone gathered around campfires, sang karaoke, and told stories.
Grilling and creating meals was another favorite pastime that Kirk enjoyed. He had fond memories of cooking at his sister’s restaurant during his younger years. He loved listening to classic country, Western movies, watching shows on renovation, and drawing/painting. Kirk’s dreams came true when he moved out to the country near Bigfoot and started his dream job farming.Β He was completely in his element with farming life and often quoted the phrase “If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.” Kirk fought valiantly, and never lost his gentle spirit. His heart and voice praised the Lord until he got to be with Jesus.
Kirk was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ernest and Stella Lehman; and maternal grandparents, E.G and Allene Ray.
He is survived by his spouse: Vivien; parents: Jack and Linda; children: Justin, Brandon and Noah; siblings: Jackie, Lora, and Kelly; grandchildren: Paisley and Xander; and numerous nieces and nephews
