LINDEN TX William Lee Wormington, 60, of Linden, died Sunday, September 1, 2013 at his home in Linden. He was born November 24, 1952, in Phoenix, Arizona to Charles William and Mary Sue Parsons Wormington. Mr. Wormington was a maintence tech for Wadley Medical Center and attended First Assembly of God Church in Linden. He served in the Texas Army National Guard for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Lelia Green. Survivors include his children, Bradley Allan Wormington of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Brandy Wormington of Texarkana; his mother, Mary Wormington of Linden; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles Dennis and April Wormington of San Antonio, Larry James and Marie of Melissa, Texas, and Nathan Dale and Sandra of Linden; one sister and brother-in-law, Lana Sue and Sidney Kenward of Hooks; two step brothers, Gary Peacock and Chris Peacock; two grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Thursday, September 5, 2013 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Rev. Jerry McKellar officiating. Interment will follow in Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

I was Lees friend and attorney for many years. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I felt upon learning of Lees death, but please know that my heartfelt condolences are with the family during this difficult time. I pray God will give each of you the strength to overcome the pain, and that happy memories will carry you through this time of sorrow. Because of family matters I will but unable to attend the service, but please let me know if there is anything I can do to help support you during this difficult time.
