Lillian Godwin

LINDEN TX Lillian Godwin, 79, of Douglassville, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in a Linden nursing center. She was born July 1, 1933 in Paoli, Indiana to Wayne and Lillian Mae Holland Scott. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include her children, Mary Holoubek and husband, John, Reva Cook, Calvin Godwin, Tricia Rhodes and husband, Jason, and Charity Godwin; 24 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Cody Scott; and one granddaughter, Faith Ann Cook. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Friday, February 1, 2013 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Red Hill with Bro. Neil Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden. Visitation is from 1pm until service time.
