Lillian Overstreet

Lillian Mae Tinsley was born in Mt. Vernon, Texas on August 23, 1912. She left her earthly body behind on August 13, 2006 while hospitalized in Linden, Texas. She spent all of her 93 years in the East Texas area. In 1927 she married james Franklin Richardson. They had ten children. She is survived by nine children, Bobby J. Richardson of Douglassville, Eucline C. Richardson and wife Betty of Linden, Marion O. Richardson and wife Janet of Linden, Ray Dean Richardson and wife Ida of Douglassville, Jamie E. Richardson and wife Mary of Hughes Springs, Eula Shaddix of Marietta, Jackie Richardson and wife Betty of Naples, Gerald Richardson and wife Judy of Cason, Kathy Russell and husband Jimmy Don of Hughes Springs, two stepdaughters, Sylvia Hobbs of Marietta and Esther Russell of California; three sisters, Gay Wooten of Linden, Sybil Reed of Texarkana, and Gordy Thomas of Carterville; she was blessed with 24 grandchildren, 25 step grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and one step great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, James Franklin Richardson; second husband, Sam Overstreet, daughter, Frances Rhyne, grandson, Michael Ray Richardson, granddaughter, Amanda Elaine Wormington, stepson, Melburn Richardson, and stepdaughter, Eunice Rice.
