Services for Lille Belle Brown Gilmore, 98, of Avinger will be 11:30 Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Bear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. 

Lillie Belle Brown Gilmore was born February 5, 1924 in Hughes Springs, Texas and went to be with her Lord on March 17, 2022 in Linden, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Edward Oscar Gilmore; her mother, Fannie Evalina Sturdivant Brown; her father, John Harrison Brown; sons: William Gilmore and wife, Gloria of Hughes Springs and Kenneth Gilmore of Avinger; and one sister, Mary Lemoine of Vineland, New Jersey. Lillie and Edward were married on August 2, 1942 in Killeen, Texas. Lillie was a homemaker and upholstered furniture from her home. 

She is survived by her daughter, Doris Gauer of Waco, Texas; grandchildren: Vicki Brown and husband Bill Brown of Longview, David Barton and wife Cheryl Barton of Forney, Texas, Keri Lynn and husband Kenneth Rieger-Reece of Hallsville, Shannon and husband Scott Day of Stanton, Texas, Benny Joe Gauer, Jr. and wife Tracy, Sonya Gauer and Samuel Gauer and wife Monica, all of Waco, Texas; great-grandchildren:  Victor Martinez, Erik Martinez, Luke Martinez, Ivan Martinez, Alexander Gauer, Brayden Gauer, JC Rieger, and Jacob Day; along with a host of nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heritage Hospice or Golden Villa Nursing Home.
