LINDEN TX Linda Gean Hunt, 68, of Linden, died Thursday, September 12, 2013 in a Longview hospital. She was born January 24, 1945, in Jefferson, Texas, to Leslie and Reathie Ryan Foster. She was a homemaker and a member of Linden Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Curtis Hunt of Linden; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Billy and Lien Hunt of Linden, Richard and Joyce Smith of Jefferson, and Brian and Heather Cloninger of Bloomburg; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Annette and Neal Hallonquist of Pittsburg, Teresa Johnston of Burlington, North Carolina, and Lisa and Keith Horton of Texarkana; two brothers, Joe and Sherry Foster of Minden, Louisiana, and L.H. Foster of Vivian, Louisiana; four sisters, Kathryn Wall of Linden, Josephine Mitchell of Nebraska, Reathie Mae and Jr. Joyce of Jefferson, Myrtle and Billy Stevens of Vivian Louisiana; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren and many other family and friends who loved her. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Friday, September 13, 2013 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Bob Money officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Spearsville, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am Friday at the funeral home.   6. Our Foster Gatherings will never be the same without Jean. She always came through the door with bells tied to her ankles or wearing blinking bling bling shirts to get a laugh. We'll miss all of her new recipes she cooked. Most of all we'll miss her laughter and kind heart.

I will always remeber her kindness my dad and sister and I lived across the road from them when I was 10 and her oldest two Billy and nananettee were small she always kept me when my dad worked in the summer and I loved playing with the children , she only had the first two at the time back in 1965
