Services for Linda Wells King, 68, of Linden will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Pinecrest Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Cave Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Linda Wells King was born April 23, 1954 in Houston, Texas to Ray and Ann Wells and went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2022. Linda grew up in Houston and was a long time resident of Linden. She was a beautician for 38 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Joey Wells.

Linda is survived by her husband, Kenneth King; children, Shannon King and wife, Sara of Longview, Josh King of Longview, Kenny King and wife Trinity of Derby, Kansas; three grandchildren, Dylan, Ryan, and Abigail; sister, Beverly Wiggins and husband Jobe of Huntsville; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

  3. Linda and I were very good friends in Houston. Then, she got married and moved to Linden. We kept in touch for a while, but as things go life happened and we lost touch until about a year ago when we became Facebook friends. It was so good to be back in touch. Linda was so sweet and such a good friend. We had some good times together back then; memories that I will always cherish. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Linda's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless you all at this time and the days to come.
