Services for Loyce (Jug) Jarrett, 90, of Daingerfield will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Reeder Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Iron Bluff Cemetery in Lone Star under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mr. Jarrett was born February 22, 1924 in Upshur County and passed away November 8, 2014 in Longview. He retired as an Electrical Switchboard Operator at Lone Star Steel after 40 years and served in the US Army WWII and was awarded two Purple Hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives Dorothy Wood Jarrett and Billie Brown Jarrett; a brother Robert Jarrett and a twin sister Floyce Jarrett. He is survived by a daughter Dorothy Jean Jarrett Cotham of Granbury; and a son and daughter-in-law Tony Wayne and Andrea Jarrett of Daingerfield; six grandchildren Shana Passaro, Brad and Lora Jarrett, Ben Jarrett, Heath and Trish Jarrett, Jarrett Cotham and Zach and Christina Cotham; and eight great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday evening at the funeral home in Hughes Springs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
