Services for Douglas McAuthor Smith, 77, of Cason will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mr. Smith will lie in state from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith was born June 23, 1942 and passed away November 10, 2019. Full obituary and service details will follow.
