Guestbook

  1. A truly wonderful woman – beautifully honest and dedicated to a fault. She religiously covered lone star, Daingerfield, Hughes springs and Avinger with the Bee and kept us all knowing what was going on. She cannot be replaced and will be sorely missed.

  2. To the family and all that love her, I send me deepest condolences, Mrs. Marlene was a wonderful person that touched the lives of many.

  3. Marlene was always so good to me. She strongly supported school functions and loved writing positive posts about kids and various charitable events. She will be missed

  4. Marlene was a good friend and a true journalist. I got to know her through her covering board meetings at NTCC for the newspaper. She always kept herself so busy, I wondered how she had the energy! She loved to travel and she often talked fondly of her family back home. She was a wonderful lady who is truly missed.

  5. Marlene was one of my very beat friends. She was a loving, kind soul that would do anything for anyone. I loved her like she was my own mother and I’m going to miss her spunky self like crazy. Her phrases that she would use were so funny. I’m going to miss her calling me and when I would say something crazy she would say Geezy Cow Girl. I love you with all my heart and soul Marlene. Till we meet again keep smiling your infectious smile.

  6. You were a great friend to Gene and me. I loved talking to you for hours on end. Prayers go out to your family and friends because you will be never be replaced. Go rest in the arms of our Lord now. Love and will miss you.

  7. I know our area has lost a great person who truly cared about our community and my condolences to all who loved her. She was dedicated beyond her paycheck in caring for this area of Texas. Her passion will be greatly missed.

  8. We would like to offer our condolences and prayers to Marlene's family and those who loved her.

Elected Officials and Employees of Morris County Courthouse and Sheriff's Department.

  9. Mrs. Bohr was my Medicare Client. I just had spoke to her in the beginning of October.
I am sorry for her loss.

  10. Strange to see everyone talk so highly of my mother, you all got to see a side of her that was never given to her family. Growing up with a chain smoking, alcoholic who never cared for anyone but herself. She was never a mother. She was a cruel individual who abandoned my brother when he was younger, and I had to get custody of him. She liked to beat her kids when she was drunk and had no qualm with screwing family members over. She was not getting one more second of my life.
